Good afternoon,
Let me introduce myself I am Olivier Alves currently at working at CERN.
We (my team and I) are developing a feature that we believe could be a nice option for the e(fx)clipse plugin.
What we achieve is a way for the user to synchronize an fxml file with a controller.
Here is how it works:
If in the fxml we have defined some event handlers, such as onAction for instance, the user must implement the corresponding function in his controller by himself... until now.
Once the user has defined, actions or component IDs, and after that selects "synchronize controller" we automatically add the missing methods and fields for the user in his controller.
We think it is a great time saver for the user and we believe it could be added into e(fx)clipse.
Let me know if this feature interests you, and, if so, how should we proceed to add it to e(fx)clipse.
Have a nice day,
Olivier Alves
