We might be a bit biased (this being the Epsilon forum and all!), but Epsilon in general is seeing some good use within academia and industry. At the very least, we know about these:

Hi there,
Does anyone know an appropriate reference to confirm that ETL is one of the widely used model transformation languages?

Does ETL support in-place transformations?

Hi Banafsheh,

> Does anyone know an appropriate reference to confirm that ETL is one of the widely used model transformation languages?

It depends on your definition of "widely" I suppose. A quick search on GitHub reveals about 1K transformations: https://github.com/search?p=1&q=transform+rule+extension%3Aetl&type=Code in case this helps.

> Does ETL support in-place transformations?

No - you're better off using EPL for this.

Cheers,
Dimitris
