I neext XText 2.7.3 as a prerequisite for another plugin. When I add the update site suggested on https://eclipse.org/Xtext/download.html into the "Install New Software" dialog, XText is not among the selectable categories, in contrast to what is stated in the Installation Instructions. I'd very much appreciate a hint on how I can get XText 2.7.3 installed.

Just in case it matters: I'm using Neon 3.

i cant follow you on this this. (sure you delected show latest version only?) ntl xtext 2.7.3 is here http://download.eclipse.org/modeling/tmf/xtext/updates/releases/maintenance/R201411190455/

At a second attempt (after closing and restarting Eclipse) I got a different result that does include XText, including the required version. Problem solved already!
