Hello, Thank you for your work running this forum. I am very grateful for eclipse and this forum. I posted yesterday for the first time. My post was sent to a moderator queue, which I understand is necessary to filter spam from newcomers. I have not seen my post approved or denied. I am wondering if my post was rejected and if I would receive a notice if it had been.

Any assistance you can provide will be much appreciated.

Thank you.

I can't find a trace of it. I'm guessing it wasn't advertising spam (enlargement pills seem to be their current pitch), but did you write content in the post and not just a title?

Hello, another first time poster here, possibly with the same question. I say "possibly" because I wrote my first post just a few hours ago, which may or may not be a completely normal delay - I have no idea how many and how active moderators this forum enjoys. There's another question: what is the normal time taken until accepted?

The existence of this forum and the work of the moderators, however many and however hard, is much appreciated.

UPDATE: My post has now appeared. It is between 4 and 5 hours since I wrote it, and I consider that perfectly reasonable.

Nitin, Thank you for responding. Yes, there was content with a title. Since inquiring of its status, I found it in my control panel, evidently approved. I did not see it the other day. It is possible it was there there and I missed it, or it was still awaiting moderation. My post was in another forum (PHP Development Tools (PDT)), but I thought the inquiry on its status belonged here in the newcomers forum.

Ah. No, each forum can/does have different moderators, and not just the names you see in the list of forums. Good to know your post made it through.

I have the same issue. I posted a new question in the C/C++ IDE section last Friday 10 May, concerning what is either a bug in eclipse or a configuration issue. It was put into the moderation queue and it still hasn't shown up. Is there any way I can get support on this issue? I don't want to hijack another thread, but it may be my only option.
