Is it possible to install the Eclipse Client executable package silently on headless AWS Windows workstation environments? We are using Chef for all of our developer / workstation builds and one of our development teams is requesting Eclipse to be installed on a moments notice via Jenkins or Scalr automation tools.

Currently we are using the eclipse-inst-win64.exe executable.

Is there any roadmap plans in place to allow this to happen? This would be a great thing to have to virtual desktops / workstations.

No, there is not much of a road map for that. Another way to ask the question: "Is there any organization willing to fund the work sufficiently to offset the long term maintenance of the development effort?"
