Can't create Eclipse Neon DB Connection Profile for SQL Server 2014 [message #1758081]

In the New Connection Profile of the Data Source Explorer, if I select "SQL Server 2008 JDBC Driver", the Properties pane populates with all the options for the connection. But if I select "SQL Server 2014 JDBC Driver", I get nothing in the Properties pane. So I set the connection details in the driver definition itself, but I still can't go any further. I have selected the right jdbc driver. So what am I doing wrong??

use "Microsoft SQL Server 2008 JDBC Driver" template instead

Just had to reply to say thanks!

Had older eclipse working fine for SQL plugin.
Had to build new install as 3rd party plugins had bug and needed new instance.

Could not get SQL working to my SQL2014. Using latest DTP drivers as of writing this and 2014 does not connect.
I had downloaded latest MS SQL JDBC driver and changed from the default
sqljdbc.jar name (which does not exist) and I was getting same as OP.
Just blank connection area and none of buttons enabled..
Simple change to the 2008 driver worked.

Would like to know why latest DTP deployed with entry for 2014 if it does not work though, wasted a fair bit of time trying to get working!
