Hi,

Although I am able to define custom SVG shapes for my profile elements that extend metaclasses like Class or Package (so basically nodes in a diagram), I haven't managed to make the same for stereotypes that extend Association metaclass or any other connector. Is it possible to assign custom SVGs to connectors in Papyrus or in general is there any way to customize the look of edges in a diagram other than of changing the linestyle via CSS properties?

Hi Thanos,

It is currently possible to customize in Papyrus only node representations. Only nodes have the compartment that displays shapes, and the ability to hide everything except this shape.

However, you can use decorators on top of the connectors, if you want to display some custom sign on your connection representation. This looks like this

There is no documentation inside Papyrus for such decorators, as they are mainly inherited from the GMF runtime framework we use for diagrams. You can have a look at the bug 510411 if you want to learn more about the implementation of the screenshot. There is a link to the gerrit used to implement the decorations on transitions in Papyrus-RT.
