I installed Andmore (0.5.1.201701251432) and tried to create a new Project called dummy:
File->New->Android Project
I selected Android 7.1.1 as the SDK Target let the wizard fill use the defaults for everything else.
When I click finish I get an error dialog that has a title of "An error oc...". The dialog contains no text and one button that says OK.
The error Log shows 3 errors that all say "Failed to load properties file for project 'dummy'.

The android console says "Project has no project.properties file! Edit the project properties to set one.
If I right click on the Project in the Package Explorer and select Properties->Android, I get an error dialog titled "Could Not Accept Changes". The text says "The currently displayed page contains invalid values." If I dismiss the dialog, expand the Android property, Select General and then Android (this is the only way I can get there), I see that there is no target selected. If I select the 7.1.1 target again and then click OK I get a NullPointerException.

Here is the stack trace:

It seems that no developers or power users monitor this forum!

I did some research and found this bug:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=478277
already covers the issue I saw. It was written in Sep '15 and last commented on in Jun '16.

I need to study the comment chain some more but the gist of it seems to be that the New Project wizard is broken. I'm going to add a comment that the problem still exists in the latest build.
