Hello all!

I've tried to create a custom palette for a DSML that uses the sequence diagram editor. However when I try to add stereotypes of certain model elements, or even the model elements without the stereotypes applied, I get errors of this fashion: "could not find entry createMessageAsyncTool".

I've filed this as a bug:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=509398

Has anyone encountered this issue before, and is there a quick fix to this?

I realise the sequence diagram editor will undergo a revamp towards the next release of Papyrus, Papyrus Oxygen (scheduled for release in June this year). However there is no information about the changes that is planned for the sequence diagram editor in the wiki, does anyone know when this will be updated?

Regards, Vetle VF.

Hi Vetle,

Indeed the plan is to improve sequence diagram for the oxygen release.
I don't have more precise information on the rewamp but when ready, the technical information will be present here:
https://wiki.eclipse.org/Papyrus/Oxygen_Work_Description/NewFeature/SequenceDiagramTasks

About your specific problem can you add some precision in the bug?
(I will list that in directly in the bug)

Regards,
Benoit
