Hi

I don't like the git label decoration in the package explorer.
So i deactivated it in preferences
General -> Apperance -> Label Decorations : uncheck Git

But when i do
1. restart Eclipse
2. switch to Git perspective,
3. do some Git actions, e.g. commit/push,
4. switch back to plugin dev perspective

Now the label decorations are re-enabled again.
Can someone confirm this behavior? Is it a bug?

Frank

If you disable the preference and then restart and look at the preference again, does it change state? If so, you haven't previously used Oomph's preference recorder to always set it to true have you? If you never want this enabled, you could enable the preference recorder (the toolbar button next to the "?" help button in the preference dialog) and change it and record it so it's always disabled. If the state didn't change just on restart, it would be good to know which specific activity causes the preference itself to change state.

Hello Ed,

The recorder was grayed.
Now I enabled it.
This seems to help.
Thanks for this hint.
