Hello,

I'm trying to build a monthly report with the BIRT Designer, with the following situation: I have a dataset with events occuring sporadic. Simplified it looks like this:

Date | Event
-----------------------------+------
05. January 2016 at 12:01 AM | Alarm
05. January 2016 at 12:03 AM | Alarm
05. January 2016 at 12:05 AM | Alarm
12. January 2016 at 08:51 PM | Alarm
13. January 2016 at 07:33 AM | Alarm
29. January 2016 at 11:01 PM | Alarm
30. January 2016 at 10:00 PM | Alarm

I want to display the count of events in a chart. I have accomplished this, by grouping them on the date, this works fine but I have the problem, that the chart only displays days when at least one event occured. I would like to start at the first of a month and end on the last, so I have an x-axis with values like: 01. Jan, 02. Jan, 03. Jan, 04. Jan,... etc. instead of 05. Jan, 12. Jan, 13. Jan... etc.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks and regards
Chris
