Hi,

we are using font Roboto Medium in our project.

When we change the antialiasing to either SWT.ON or SWT.OFF on the gc the rendering of the font seems to be broken. The font gets kind a blown up. We are not sure if the problem is only limited to Roboto Medium albeit we failed to reproduce the problem with Arial for example.

We could only reproduce the problem on windows.

Any idea what the reason for this could be? Has somebody experienced a similar problem.

We are using the fonts contained in roboto-hinted.zip which you can find at https://github.com/google/roboto/releases.

We attached a screen shot with a sample rendering as well a as small project containing test code.

Should we open a bug for this?

Cheers
