I'm convinced that I want to use Scout for software projects of the company. Yet I have several questions that I can not solve with the tutorials.

The first question is how to connect to a database? (solved https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/1076182/)

When you download the JAR version 6 have by RC (Release Candidate) name? it is right? It can be used for a production environment.
Is there any example to develop a SaaS system? where, from a single platform works for different customers?
Where you can see the operation of roles and permissions of the application?

Regards,

Nelson F.

Hi Nelson

Yes, the latest stable release is "6.0.100.RC4", which is a bit confusing. (Maybe this will be better in future releases)
See also the release notes. https://eclipsescout.github.io/6.0/release-notes.html#releases
We use this version in production.
You can see how to use permissions in the contacts application described in the tutorial.
https://eclipsescout.github.io/6.0/beginners-guide.html#cha-large_example.
You will need to create roles consisting of a number of permissions and assign them to different users for your SaaS system.

Regards,
Judith

Judith thank you very much.
