Is there a elegant way to autostart the internal application server which is used to preview birt reports?

I'm programming a rcp client. In this client there are areas which can be exported to pdfs. For this I call the preview servlet with several parameters and let birt generate the pdf.

But this works only if the internal app server is running. At the moment I open a report and click on the preview-button to start the server.

How can I start this server automatically on eclipse startup?
