Hello,

after setting up a fresh instance of Tomcat7 (+ configuring SSL for it) and deploying the scout hello-world application as generated by the scout IDE, I will not get redirected to the main application after logging in as "admin:admin" but stay on the log-in page instead.

What am I doing wrong? I can not find anything suspicious in the log files...

Generally I am very satisfied with the newest scout release in terms of simplicity and productivity. Good job!

did you go though all the steps described in chapter "Export the Application" of the beginners guide [1]?

in case this did not help, please:
(a) provide more details - or -
(b) switch to http as described a bit further down in the beginners guide
