hi there,

I have a requirement to change the default drag/drop of task to abstract from script.

When using the toolbox it is easy to pick and drop what you need but some of our people like to design the full flow first and then assign the "type" of task, Script, Human, etc. They do this by using the drag/drop feature of the task to drop another task, but they always get script.

How do we change this default behaviour?

Many thanks and best regards

Hmm, I'm not quite sure I understand what you're trying to do, but have you looked at using the "Morph" feature to change the Task type?

Thanks but not quite,

When I drag a new task from the current selected task currently the newly created task is default (script), is there any way of changing what the default is?

thanks

OK, I still don't understand. What do you mean by "drag a new task from the current selected task"? Would it be possible to share a screencast?

Hi there,

sorry

it looks like there is an extension added to the tool I'm using that allows me to drag and drop new tasks as opposed to how it is implemented in the BPMN tool which is click->append.

Issue withdrawn, and thanks for the help.

regards
