Hello,
I am using Jubula version 8.2.2.055.
In
https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/m/1722490/?srch=jubula#msg_1722490
it is mentioned that multi-language capability has been cleanup in version 8.2.

In fact in Project creation I cannot see the 'Project Languages'.

I am interested in testing rcp in de_DE and en_GB.
how is now the way to handle multi-languages now?
Is it still a possibility to use different languages?
Do I need to create a project per language? How/where to define the language that I like to use for the test data?

Thank you very much for you help and/or good hints!

Best Regards,
Iris

Hello Iris,

Thanks for your question. The reason we removed the multi language support was because the functions of an application (in our experience through various projects) almost never have differences depending on the language used. People tend to choose the main language for the application, perform functional tests in that language and do normal localisation testing to check e.g. translations, how the other languages look on the screen etc. Nevertheless, if you have parts of the application that you want to test in two languages, then you can still enter data in different languages. I'm not sure how comfortable it will be though.

Best regards,
Alex
