Hi,

it's currently not that easy to work through the tutorial. The first stumbling block is that I can't figure out what to do with the provided p2 repo for the CPS example (which I think is broken).

The provided links https://github.com/IncQueryLabs/incquery-examples-cps and https://github.com/IncQueryLabs/incquery-examples-cps/wiki could also be updated.

Because of this it is not that easy to know how and which metamodels to retrieve (I resorted to browsing the git repo and guessing what I need).

Cheers and thanks,
Tony

Hi,

thanks for the feedback, we will update the tutorial now that the CPS demo has been contributed to VIATRA.

In case you want to help out, we welcome pull requests to https://github.com/viatra/viatra-docs in any form.

Cheers

I have updated the CPS links in the tutorial ( https://github.com/viatra/viatra-docs/commit/2d52b7181528a94ab8d9b48f5bd55d21ef642544 ).
Note that the CPS demo wiki content is also available in the same repository: https://github.com/viatra/viatra-docs/blob/master/cps However, not all of it has been properly migrated, so some links may be broken and some styling may be off. Our next step will be to update that part and probably generate HTML similarly to the tutorial.

Thanks, Abel

I'll definitely send a pull request so I can fix a few things (typos in the code) directly.

Cheers,
Tony

Hi,

a problem that I had to "fix" but I'm not sure about was that all instance models are invalid (unknown 'id' attribute). To get them to open without errors I had to rename all 'id' attributes to 'identifier' with a text editor.

Was the metamodel perhaps changed without co-evolving the model instances? I got both version of the projects from the gihub repo.

Cheers,
Tony

Yes, the old Github repo was archived in a state where the metamodel was already changed, but the instance model was not yet updated.
In the viatra.examples repository, the instance models have been updated already.
