I started to play with Serius, but not sure how it ties with ecore model. Are there any examples where Sirius consumes ecore model?

Hi Alex,

see the previous post on this forum: I'll juste quote Pierre-Charles
answer. According to your question, my advice is to:
- read the Sirius Specifier manual [5]
- take a look at EcoreTools 2.0 [4], which uses Sirius to define diagram
& table modelers for Ecore models.

"There are many examples that work with the pre-Sirius version of the
code, which was code-named Viewpoint and available as part of Obeo
Designer [1]. If that's OK for you, you can get an evaluation version of
Obeo Designer (time-limited, but with no feature restriction) and follow
the included "Getting Started" guide. You can also find example modelers
at [2].

If you want to use Sirius itself (same code, but we know there are still
some glitches left from the large-scale renaming) you can get the latest
nightly from [3] and the latest version of EcoreTools [4] which is being
rewritten to use Sirius.

If you go to EclipseCon next week, we would be happy to give you a demo
and answer any questions there; just ask at the Sirius booth. There will
also be a BOF session on wednesday where we will help particpants create
their first Sirius-based modeler."

Please let us know if you have any additional question.

Best Regards,
Alex
