Hi

We have just downloaded the new Neon version of the "Eclipse IDE for JavaScript and Web Developers".
When we open our .js Files with the new version the "Outline" view remains empty. Furthermore Ctrl+O shows no proposals and jumping using F3 has no effect.

This used to work in the Mars release.

Here are some sample files we work with:
Action.js
string.js

Is there anything we have to configure different or what else can we do?

Thanks a lot for your help
Matthias

I am not really a JavaScript developper myself. A coworker showed me with an example the regression decribed by Matthias in this question.

Take an example file: FormField.js (in the Eclipse Scout RT repository)

With Mars:

The outline (CRTL-O) is displaying some hierarchy (as in Java):
index.php/fa/26813/0/

When "se" is entered to filter the outline, the corresponding methods are filtered:
index.php/fa/26814/0/

With Neon:

The outline is displaying everything flat:
index.php/fa/26815/0/
(the prefix is not really necessary)

With "se" filter, nothing is presented.
index.php/fa/26816/0/

Any opinion?
Thank you in advance.

Did you try *se as a workaround? In any case, feel free to open bugs for such issues.
