Hello Eclipse-Community,

I am right after my apprenticeship and got just handed over the responsibility on the companys Sonatype Nexus server Smile

We plan to upgrade our Nexus (current version 2.7.2-03), preferably the newest possible version (3.0).
After requesting the support I have found out that the Nexus 3 does not support Nexus 2 plugins.

Indeed our developers need this "unzip"-Plugin: https://wiki.eclipse.org/Tycho/Nexus_Unzip_Plugin
We can not do without this feature, so this will prevent an uprade for us.

My Question is:
Are there any plans to improve this plugin to support Nexus 3.0?

Thank You & Best Regards
Lukas

Lukas,

I'm not sure this is a question for the M2E project, but if so, please
read https://www.eclipse.org/m2e/m2e-community.html

Hello Ed,

thank you for your answer.
I have not found any reference to the M2E project, but I am also not sure.

Is there a way to discover the developer of the plugin?

Lukas,

I Googled. Is this what you mean?

https://wiki.eclipse.org/Tycho/Nexus_Unzip_Plugin

Plugins do have metadata information in the MANIFEST.MF that should say
the providing. The bundle name is often a clue too.

So maybe it's part of Tycho, which also has its own forum.
