I tried this in my win7x64 VM and it works for me.
Maybe you should check that you are running a 64 bit version of LDT with a Java 8 64 bit.

At the moment I do not have time to deal with this. I'll deal with it later.

Exception сall stack:

com.naef.jnlua.LuaRuntimeException: ...pse.ldt.metalua\lib\metalua\compiler\parser\meta.lua:41: attempt to call local 'f' (a nil value)
