I tried to run project as android app, the emulator starts up, but crashes when I click on the app with no clear messages only "Unfortunately (app name), Stopped.

Michael,

Unless we've changed policy, this forum doesn't support Android
development. The plug-ins that make it possible to use Eclipse to do
Android development are not supported in any Eclipse forum, but
elsewhere. See:
