Hi,

I`ve got some encoding problems with Chinese 测试 (en:test) at Eclipse(4.5.2 and 4.6.0RC1) with the Mylyn plugin (version 3.19).

we use this plugin to wrok with gerrit review. when I open one commit change, the text show right in Chinese.
but when I publish comments "测试", comments result show ²âÊÔ.

I took all adjustments for the encoding in Eclipse which I know from and
pointed them to UTF-8:
Window -> Preferences:
General -> Appearance -> ContentTypes
General -> Appearance -> Editors -> Text Editors -> Spelling
General -> Appearance -> Workspace

I pointed the adjustment of the Task Repository to Textile
gerrit repository settings -> Task Editor Settings -> Textile(default)

but when I publish comments "测试", comments result still show ²âÊÔ.

I publish comments the same char from web gerrit, it show right.

How let comments char show right?

I think this issue has been previously reported as

438139: Comments in Swedish get malformed
