Hi mi 4DIAC partners, I'm tying to handle a SubApplication but it turns impossible because of this problem:

Hi,

first of all I've to add a short disclaimer: Currently the Subapplication implementation in 4IDAC-IDE is very fragile and needs improvement. This is one of the reasons we started the big code-cleanup that we announced a few weeks back [1].

Regarding your problem. Could you be so kind and let us know what you did so that we can try to reproduce the problem?

All the problem started here, in that little subapp unmapped:

I was taking a screenshot of inside the subapplication but all 4DIAC collapsed before I could have done it.

4DIAC does not let me see the project directory, I can only zip the FB libraries.
This is what I could extract:

Hi,

yes 4DIAC provides you only the IEC 61499 system view. But you can access all the files also from your file explorer 4DIAC stores everything in plane xml files. You can easily save this files away for backup or add them into a version control system. I would recommend one of both.

Regarding your project. I spent some time looking through your project files. I don't know what happened here. After working a while with the files I could get a bit back from you when I deleted all devices (see attached project). What I didn't manage to bring back was the broken subapplication in your reconfiguration application. I'm very sorry that this happened and hope that this helps at least a bit.

Do you have more information on what steps you did? This could really help us to stabilize 4DIAC for future releases.
