Hey everyone,

I'm not sure if it's the right place to ask this question though.

I have a one month internship that I have to complete in order to graduate (means that I'm not familiar with papyrus and probably will not use it afterwards).

One of the tasks that was being assigned to me is to export the embedded utp profile to a file that can be imported to other projects or maybe just use it externally (they didn't tell me the reason)

I attached a picture that shows what I'm talking about if I made no sense in my description.

Thanks for the help,

Hi,

There is no need to export anything. This profile is provided by the
Eclipse UPR project:

http://git.eclipse.org/c/upr/upr.git/tree/standardized/bundles/org.eclipse.upr.utp/model/utp.profile.uml

Cheers,

Christian

You don't edit the profile. It's deployed in a plug-in and is intended
to be a static resource.

However, you can copy the profile into a resource in the local
workspace to edit it, in which case there still is no need to export
anything because now it's in the workspace.

I would recommend cloning the UPR repository from git.eclipse.org and
working with that. But if you edit this profile, you'll want to assign
an unique namespace URI to it to ensure that it will never be confused
with the UPR's OMG-specified version of the profile.
