today i upgraded to the latest egit (4.3.1.201605051710-r) and switching branches doesn't work any more.
every branch switch pops up the "uncommited changes" dialogue. but there are no uncomitted changes in any of my branches (trying the commit option confirms that: "there are no changes").
nothing i tried (resetting, stashing) works.

so egit is basically broken for me now. any help?

thanks.

I have the same problems.
Additionally the automatic rebase fails always with checkout conflicts on files that haven't been touched in the incoming commits.

When trying to switch a branch I get a checkout conflict on one of the files that differ between the two branches.
No matter what I select (Commit, Stash, Reset) the same dialog appears again. (Selecting Commit shows the "No files to commit" dialog.)

This is a nasty bug and a showstopper!
