Role
Your main role will be working with others to create new features and to maintain Imagination's Eclipse based MIPS debugger, Codescape for Eclipse (C4E).
This will require Java skills for the Eclipse GUI and C++ for the back-end debugging libraries.
The tasks for enhancing the debugger range from working at the lowest chip level all the way to high end GUI.
Background
Imagination Technologies' Codescape team creates world class tools for its IP designs such as debuggers, compilers, simulators and utilities for MIPS CPU, META CPU, MCP/UCC RPU and PowerVR GPU.
All tools need to work with the latest in processor technologies. This is a challenging task due to the complexity of new chips containing multiple SoCs with multiple heterogeneous cores which in turn can have multiple hardware threads running different OSs / RTOSs.

We need an experienced software engineer to compliment an existing highly experienced 9 strong team working in a in a relaxed, engineering friendly, informal environment.
