Bizarre red minimize/maximize/other icons in Eclipse [message #1722715]

Does anyone know how to fix the above? It is 100% reporoducible in my environment. It's not just those icons either, it's others sometimes.

I believe this issue may have something to with my graphical setup. I am Remote Desktoping into a Windows 7 VM, from which I am Puttying into a Red Hat Enterprise Linux VM forwarding X11 using Xming. I then launch Eclipse (any version--Helios, Kepler, Luna, Mars) and I can see this bug. Does anyone know how to fix or remedy it?

OK I figured it out. Xming doesn't play nice with 24bit color depth. I had to set Remote Desktop to 32bit and then restart Xming and it picked up the 32 bit color depth appropriately. No more ugly red icons thank the lord.
