Error in eclipse process modeller:
Cannot parse XSD file.: local part cannot be "null" when creating a QName

To reproduce:
1) Add data of type 'XML Document' to a Process Definition
2) Edit the properties:
a) Schema Type: XSD
b) Type Declaration URL: Enter the path to an XSD file.
For the XSD I chose a few different files but always got the same error. Sample attached.
3) Click the Browse button to see error

Screenshot of error attached.

Roger,

Ashish already commented something similar on the other thread. The primitive XML data type is superseded by the Structured Data type.
The XML data type is basically a string data with xpath support for data paths. The structure data type provides way more sophisticated support, browsable data structure, indexing configuration for particular fields, preferences for UI generation, ootb parsing and serialization, support in transformation application, ...

Please use structured data. The XML data will likely be removed in the near future.

Regards

Rob
