Hi,

how can I define that a restart is needed for a certain task?

Example: I create the servers.xml file according to https://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse_Oomph_Authoring#Server_Instance_in_Servers_View

The server does not appear in the Servers view until I restart. Is there a way to annotate the task in a way that it requires a restart to work?

Thanks fpor your answers!

Oliver

You can't. The task implementations determine whether a restart is needed.

I see. But doesn't this task run before the IDE is even started?

You are right, that's sufficient.

Thanks a lot!
