Hello,
regarding this topic I checked the whole forum. I think that I already tested all possible flags (clearPersistedState, persistState) with all possible configurations. I have to admit that I was not able to force my application to save its model state on exit and load it during startup automatically. Finally I used the IModelResourceHandler and handler.save() at the application ExitHandler. Is there any way to do it automatically? Removing the
clearPersistedState flag does not work. Adding the persistState flag also does not help. I use the Mars.1 Release (4.5.1).
Another question is, how to restart the E4 application. I found some tips (e.g. overriding the IApplication and creating E4Application object "manually") but nothing seems to work. I also found that there is a IWorkbench restart() function, but it closes the application as close() function. No restart.
Thank you in advance for any tips.
Marcin
