Hi,

I would like to left-align all my sequence diagram messages labels. If I use Begin (or End) label it is not clear what is the formatting. It seems like it centers the label at a certain distance of the end of the message.

For now, the layout is a mess, see screenshots, I would like that all labels are left-aligned, i.e. that they start at the "System" instance role vertical line. How can I do that ?

many thanks in advance,
Benoît

There's currently now way to control the position of "free-floating"
labels from the VSM. For sequence diagrams it might be possible to
imagine some form of control because they have a very constrained layout
(so "left-align all my sequence diagram messages labels" has a
reasonably well-defined meaning), but in the general case I'm not sure.

The only alternative I see would be an explicit action, coded in Java,
which would modify the labels' positions directly in the GMF Notation
model. It's not a trivial development though.

Regards,
Pierre-Charles
