Promotion of XMI to Ecore [message #1716140]

I have an xmi file that holds a list of items "myItems.xmi". i would like to generate a metamodel ".ecore" that create a class for each item in the list using ATL.

Can you advise me in any reference to achieve this objective using ATL.

Transforming to ecore works like any other transformation, except that you have to check the box "Is metametamodel" for the ecore metamodel in the ATL launch screen. See also https://www.eclipse.org/atl/atlTransformations/#KM32EMF for an example.
