First I had to properly uninstall the earlier AJDT, then it worked.

I have added this on my Eclipse Neon (v4.6.1). But i cannot create aspects, or aspect projects. I do not see any aspect oriented features whatsoever.

I also have Spring Tool Suite, Maven, Ant etc. I haven't configured Spring (i don't believe this is needed thought to get AOP capabilities).

Also i was told that this website http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ajdt/neon/update/ is the one i'm looking for. However it doesn't have any content.

The only thing i've managed to do is to get the aspectj annotation syntax by downloading the library from here: https://eclipse.org/aspectj/downloads.php . I just downloaded the latest version

But i'd rather work with Eclipse, if that is possible. What AJDT do i have to download to integrate the aspectj language, as well as creating aspects / aspect projects on Eclipse Neon (4.6), Windows x86_64 ?

Is any way to use AspectJ plugin in eclipse Neon? is that project dead?
