Hello,

I have installed the titan core on cygwin and it seems to be working fine from the CLI demo project compile fine

now I want to integrate eclipse as a Working IDE and have followed the "Installation Guide for the TITAN Designer and TITAN Executor for the Eclipse IDE".

My current problem is that under 3.4 Installing JUNG it seems like I am supposed to contact any person on site Wink well that is harder then I thought since I can't seem to write anyone ^^

and if I simply copy the custom jung2.01.zip and extract it to the plugin folder I get the following error and for now assume that I seem to be using the wrong jung version

Quote:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.
Software being installed: Titanium_Feature 5.4.0.CRL_113_200_5_R4A_20151113-1513 (Titanium.feature.group 5.4.0.CRL_113_200_5_R4A_20151113-1513)
Missing requirement: Titanium_Feature 5.4.0.CRL_113_200_5_R4A_20151113-1513 (Titanium.feature.group 5.4.0.CRL_113_200_5_R4A_20151113-1513) requires 'edu.uci.ics.jung 0.0.0' but it could not be found

Thanks for the Help

Hi Philipp,

I have uploaded Jung to

https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.titan/downloads

It may take some time until it's propagated to the mirrors.

Best regards

Elemer

Hi,

I'm having the same problem with the plugin JUNG which seems to be missing , I just start trying to use TITAN making an install in 5.4. I used this plugin "Jung 2.0.1 (needed by Titanium) "available on the link (https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/tools.titan/downloads) but it didnt work. Without this module (Titanium_Feature), "Titanium Preferences" is not available.
However, it works using 5.3 (I installed on Luna in 4.4.2).

Br,

yannick

Hi Yannick,

Titan plugin 5.3 and 5.4 is totally different because 5.3 uses ANTLR2 for parsing but 5.3 uses ANTLR4 therefore their dependencies are totally different. There is no difference jung dependency because it is used by Titanium.
Is Titan plugin 5.4 working without Titanium and without(or with) jung ?

Suggested config: Eclipse Luna (4.4) and Titan plugin 5.4 (with its own install guide). Try first without Titanium.

Hi Liqun,

did you download and add the Jung package?
This is a dependency of Titanium.

Elemer,

I was using the Jung 2-2_0_1 package from sourceforge. Titanium from 5.3 packages works fine with it but not 5.4.
I replaced with the Jung form your link and still have the same issue. It looks likely both Jung packages are 2-2_0_1 but the Titanium 5.4 package is asking for Jung version 0.0.0.0
could be a packaging issue.

Hi,
I repeated the install from scratch on Windows 7.
1. I downloaded Eclipse Luna 4.4.0 (Eclipse Standard/SDK, Version: Luna Release (4.4.0), Build id: 20140612-0600 ) and unzipped it
2. I dowloaded jung from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/titan/edu.uci.ics.jung.zip and copied the unzipped folder to the plugin folder
3. I downloaded CommonCollections from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/titan/commons.collections.zip and copied the unzipped folder to the plugin folder. (The latest 4.1 version from apache.org does not fit !)
4. I downloaded Jung from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/titan/edu.uci.ics.jung.zip and copied the unzipped folder to the plugin folder (Other versions from other sources are risky!)
5. I downloaded the Titan IDE 5.4 plugins from https://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/titan/TITAN_on_Eclipse_5.4.0.CRL_113_200_5_R4A_20151113-1513.zip, unzipped it
6. I opened eclipse and installed Titan IDE from the local update site (the unzipped folder is the site). Every conponent has been installed wihout any problem.
Comments: Liqun perhaps used a different jung package. Generally newer or older 3rd party packages can cause problem.

Hi Guys,

I am having the same problem, I am using Eclipse Mars, Jung 2.0 and Eclipse Titan Plugin version 5.4.

Can someone please give me a link to download version 5.3 of Eclipse Titan please.

This new version is having issues.

Without Titan Features, there is no Eclipse Titan.

Regards
Sharon

Kind regards
Sharon

Hi Sharon,

there is no version 5.3 of the plug.ins, at least not in open source.

Could you please follow the procedure described above by Jeno;
be aware that he is using Luna and not Mars; we will start validating the plug-ins soon but that is not done yet, so we don't guarantee the plug-ins work correctly with Mars.

Best regards

Elemer
