The release of VIATRA 0.8.0 (https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.viatra/releases/0.8.0) was planned for 12 November 2015. Our strategy for releases is to use the latest EMF-IncQuery and Xtext version, and we decided that Xtext 2.9.0 (https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.tmf.xtext/releases/2.9.0) includes major new features that our users should be able to take advantage of with EMF-IncQuery 1.1.0 (https://projects.eclipse.org/projects/modeling.incquery/releases/1.1.0) and VIATRA 0.8.0.

This means we will release after Xtext (and EMF-IncQuery) has been released as well. Since the projects.eclipse.org portal has no notification mechanism, we will announce release schedule updates here. Subscribe to get notified Smile

Instead of a release, we provide a milestone build based on the Xtext 2.9.0.rc1 and it is available at the http://download.eclipse.org/viatra2/emf/updates/milestone site.
