Hello everyone !

I have a naive question - Does MoDisco has a support for Cobol (Copybook)?
The link https://wiki.eclipse.org/MoDisco/Cobol mentions Cobol metamodel but its not clear whether MoDisco has this capability or not ...

Note - in the post https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/181550/ its mentioned that MoDisco does not support Cobol yet but the post is from 2010 so thought of asking again!

Many Thanks in advance ...
~Preetam

Hello,

Thanks for your interest in MoDisco.
The current MoDisco reverse engineering support covers Java/JEE, and not COBOL.
A COBOL metamodel has been defined in Ecore in the past (as you can see from the page you mention) but there is no corresponding model discovery support implemented.

Best regards,

This is not part of our current plans, but any valuable contribution of this type to the project would be welcome of course Smile
