Hi there,

the simple controls show nice colored annotations and symbols for the
validation results, e.g. a red exclamation mark for an error with
tooltip text with the error message. That's pretty nice.

The Tree Master Details View does not show such thing, neither any
elements are marked in the tree nor any coloring in the details area.

Does such a feature exist for the tree view? Does it need to be
activated explicitly or is it not available?

Hi,

that should be supported, do you have the feature
"org.eclipse.emf.ecp.view.validation.initial.feature" in your run config?
The bundle is "org.eclipse.emf.ecp.view.treemasterdetail.validation"
