Hi, is there a way how to use Edapt for Ecore models generated, e.g., from a UML2 model? For instance, UML Profiles in Eclipse Papyrus are defined as UML2 models and then an Ecore file is generated from that. When I re-generate the Ecore model, it looks like Edapt does not add the differences to the history.

Sorry for the late reply, I just noticed that this message never got sent:

Hi Andreas,

there is currently no way to automatically reconstruct the changes in your scenario. Usually the
changes are recorded in the Ecore Editor by Edapt.
What you need would be a new feature for Edapt. If you are really interested in getting this feature
into Edapt I see two possibilities:
- You contribute a patch to the project which is reviewed by the committers
- You sponsor the development of the feature
If you would like to this please open a bug in bugzilla so we can get the discussion on the details
of the feature started:
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/enter_bug.cgi?product=Edapt
Hope this helps!

Cheers,
Maximilian
