I'm on a mac and I'm trying to set up eclipse to debug a small piece of javascript code, (4 or 5 lines) and I can not figure it out. The code is a few functions that return each other and are passed through each other as arguments and I want to be able to step through each line to see what is going on. I'v tried reading through Eclipses documentation but I have only been able to find documentation on the Java IDE. The specific issue I'm having is configuring the run/debug launch settings, and when I paste my code into the editor the buttons for stepping in and out of lines are greyed out. Any advice would be appreciated.
