Newbie question! I've downloaded Papyrus-Update-1.1.2RC5.zip; now what? [message #1708863]

I can't find instructions on what to do with the zip file... maybe unpack it in the current papyrus folder (1.1) and overwrite existing files? Any advice welcome, thanks.

Hi,

1.1.2 has not been released yet, so if you don't know what to do with the zip, I'd recommend you wait a few days until the official release (On Friday evening, 09/25).

At this time, a simple "Help > Check for updates" in Eclipse will give much more predictable results

If you still absolutely want to move to 1.1.2 now, then go to Help > Install new software > "Add..." > Archive... , then select the 1.1.2RC5 zip file
