Greetings everyone,

I just recently joined the site. I am currently a student about to take C++, with the free time on my hands I decided to download a compiler so I can run through some exercises from the textbook. Unfortunately, I can't get the 64bit to download since there is an "404 error" that forbids me to download the program unless I am a member. This is weird because I manage to download the 32bit with no problem as well as not making an account.

I was watching a video on youtube showing how to install Eclipse c++ for windows 8. The gentleman in the video said to make sure the user selects the correct version of c++ for whichever windows I am using.

Thank you for your time.
