I could not resist sharing some screenshots of our scout demo app updated to the Neon version of Eclipse Scout.
=> Because we now have real CSS, it is easy to have different theme. Smile

Join the Eclipse Scout User Group Meeting to know more about it.

For the Scout Users that do not know. The Neon version of Eclipse Scout is a big change for the Scout Framework (see: In 2016, Eclipse Scout will become a Java framework & In 2016, Eclipse Scout will get a brand new HTML5 Renderer).

During the EclipseCon Unconference next Monday, we will present the current state of the Neon Scout during the Scout User Group Meeting.
* Scout Runtime: almost production ready (in our company we are testing it on a productive application).
* Scout SDK: work in progress

The attendees of the Scout User Group Meeting will get a milestone release of the Neon Scout SDK and will be able to develop a small Eclipse Scout application using the new runtime and the new HTML UI.

We are well aware that not everybody can attend the Scout User Group Meeting in Germany next week. As always we will share the slides online and we will catch up on the scout blog.

If you have any question about Scout Neon, do not hesitate to ask them here.

I also hope that we will be able to share the Neon Milestone Release of the SDK.

In any case, we have announced in this Eclipse Mainling list that Scout should be back on the Eclipse Release Train with Neon M4.

Sounds very exciting. Sadly I can't make it to the user group meeting (or EclipseCon), but I do look forward to seeing the Neon release. I guess the EclipseCon talk will be on youtube at some point?

Talk on YouTube: it was the case in the previous years, but this is something that the EclipseCon organizers do.

As far as I know, the Scout User Group Meeting is not filmed, because it is part of the EclipseCon Unconference.

To help us writing and publishing the content you need, feel free to ask here all the topics we should explain (not sure we can do everything, but this give us a start).
