Is it safe to assume that there is no support for JavaFX in WindowsBuilder since a forum search on "JavaFX" got no hit?

Is there even a feature request submitted?

WindowBuilder does not have support for JavaFX. It would certainly be possible to build a WB plugin for JavaFX, if someone wanted to do it. The WB project is always looking for new committers...

As per this bugzilla: https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=364394 The WindowBuilder team is not willing to consider the idea. Maybe an updated more current comment in the buguzilla feature request like...

"We are willing to support a committer that is willing to take on the task. But current team does not have the bandwidth to take on such a large feature."

would help encourage people to commit? Just a thought.

Actually, I like Konstantin's original answer even better as one does not need to be a committer to do this, and we would help point people in the right direction and answer questions (as we have done many time before).

In general, committers are always welcome (but we have not had a single request to join the project since it was started, so I am not holding my breath).
