i wanted to change color and make bold some examples/text in one of my posts... but the html on/off feature doesnt seem to work . what am i missing?

yes I do.. but it gives me these codes rather than change the color.... i think it has something to do with HTML not being enabled. in my preferences... i can NOT turn on html... the option is there but it is 'greyed out'

ok.. now that i posted it.. i see it posts correctly but when im looking at it on my screen I see the html codes in plain text
