Hi, according to the Eclipse MARS help file
http://help.eclipse.org/mars/index.jsp

A perspective and view for CVS Repositories should
be available, but I do not have those options.

How do I get these options?

I am using:
Eclipse Java EE IDE for Web Developers.
Version: Mars Release (4.5.0)
Build id: 20150621-1200

Thanks!

You can find it on the Mars Update Site. Help->Install New Software.

Just curious because I had the same problem. I replaced Luna with Mars and suddenly no CVS client.

Was removing CVS from Eclipse planned and intentional? Was it announced or published anywhere? I don't see any mention of removing the CVS client from the default Java distributions on the Eclipse CVS pages or Eclipse in general.

Thanks,

Dale

It was a decision made by consensus across various project teams. See
