How to run Master Server from Equinox OSGi console? [message #1697871]

Hello there,
I just set up a new application profile project (Eclipse SCADA Configuration Project).
After generating the output files from the .esim infrastructure file, I would run the master node (master.profile.xml) externally from Eclipse, just by using the Equinox OSGi console, instead of right clicking on it and use "Run as -> Run Equinox Application Profile" inside Eclipse.
Could someone tell me if it is possible ?

Hi,

Yes it is. You need to add a deployment mechanism beneath the system node. Either Red hat, Ubuntu or Windows and generate again.

Then install the RPM, deb or MSI.

Please note that the windows platform deployment is not very well tested. It is best to use Ubuntu for a start.

Hi Jens,
thank you for answering. Could you give me a hint (or some documentation link) on how to set up a deployment configuration for sys node? I'm new to application profiles, I tried to deploy it in the same manner of RCP app, but probably I am missing something.
