Hi

Is it possible to extend stereotype in uml profile diagram with MOF class in order make it applicable to states and transitions in sysml SMD.

If yes, How?

Thanku

Hi,

What does it mean to extend a stereotype with a MOF class? Stereotypes
extend the metaclasses of a referenced metamodel, as expressed in UML.
So, a stereotype can extend a (meta)class from the UML model of the MOF
metamodel, but I don't know what the reverse means.

Cheers,

Christian

While defining a non-uml based modeling language in papyrus, I need to extend a stereotype with MOF (meta)class so that I should not directly refer to UML for that.
Stereotypes needs to generalized or extended with a (meta)class in profile diagram in order to become applicable in model. does papyrus provide facility to inherit directly MOF classes instead of referring to UML.

Thanku

Hi

As I responded on the EMF newsgroup, your questions are close to
gibberish to me.

Perhaps you should produce an example of what you are really trying to
do and why you cannot do it with existing tools.

If necessary use an arbitrary drawing tool such as Open Office to
approximate what you would like to see.

Regards

Ed Willink
