How to debug target platform update problems? [message #1696589]

Hello there,

at the moment, we develop an RCP application. Our TargetPlatform consist of several P2 repositories that we mirrored and placed on an internal Samba Share.

Currently, we frequently facing problems when we update the TargetPlatform. Something goes wrong and the workspace gets into an "inconsistent" state. The error message within the TargetPlatform gives not much information about the real problem of the issue.

Maybe there are some connection problem with our mirrors, but it is not obvious.

Do you know any kind of debugging possiblitiy to get a more detailed error exception why some feature was not loaded from one of the mentioned P2 Repositories?
